Write. Loop.
Record.
Keep your lyrics, local beats and flow recordings together. Your next verse starts where you left it.
Keep the session moving.
For a bug report, include the app version, your Android version and what happened. Share lyrics, recordings or backups only when you intend to send them for help.
Where is my library saved?
On Android, you choose a library folder when opening Barstash for the first time. Imported beats, completed recordings and library snapshots are stored there. The app also uses a private working database. Uninstalling the app does not automatically remove your chosen folder.
How do I back up or move my work?
Open Settings and use Save library backup. Keep that backup somewhere separate from the library folder. Restore the backup on the other device to bring in the writing and included audio.
How do I add a beat?
Open Beats and choose Import, or share an audio file to Barstash from another Android app. Choose a name, then link the imported beat to a track.
Does Barstash upload my lyrics?
The app does not upload your library to BeaverCode. Editing, search, playback and recording work locally. You choose when to export or share files. Other apps and file providers you select operate under their own privacy terms.
